Subtitle processing
Files you select and text you paste are processed locally in a browser worker. The app does not upload subtitle content or file names. Downloaded output is created as a browser Blob on your device.
No saved workspace
The app does not use cookies, local storage or a server database to remember subtitle work. Refreshing or closing the page clears the workspace. Your browser still controls its downloads, clipboard and ordinary cache.
Website hosting
The hosting service receives normal requests to deliver this website, which may include an IP address, requested URL and browser information. Cloudflare provides hosting and may also handle security checks and related cookies separately from the subtitle workspace. Local subtitle processing does not mean the hosting service receives no page requests.
Website analytics
The public site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, delivered by the hosting service, to measure page visits and page performance. Metrics can include the page path, referrer, browser and device information, and loading timings. We do not configure analytics to collect subtitle content or file names. Subtitle text and file names are not included in page URLs or sent by the subtitle application.
Cloudflare describes Web Analytics as not using cookies or local storage to collect usage metrics. This is separate from normal hosting and security processing. See Cloudflare Web Analytics documentation and Cloudflare’s privacy policy for its processing details.
Other services
This version has no advertising, payment services, external fonts or session recording tools. Optional external reference links take you to other websites governed by their own policies.
Supported use
CueFern is an early tool for basic UTF-8 SRT and WebVTT subtitles up to 5 MB. Advanced layout and metadata may not be retained. Keep your original and review output in its intended player or editor. This website does not generate captions from video or audio.
